TreaSolution's History
TreaSolution was started in 2002 by Dan Carmody after he observed that there was a need for consultants who specialized in treasury technology (treasury workstations / treasury management systems). Before starting TreaSolution, Dan was a treasury practitioner who implemented treasury workstations at Andersen Worldwide (the parent company of Arthur Andersen & Andersen Consulting), Equity Office Properties and Aon Corporation. Based upon Dan's experience, he realized that treasury practitioners were not only responsible for day-to-day treasury operations but also for large projects such as the selection and implementation of treasury workstations. Therefore, it became clear to Dan that many large organizations require specialized, independent, assistance with their treasury workstation projects. Initially, Dan started TreaSolution to specialize in treasury technology consulting services.
Because the implementation of treasury best practices is critical to the success of any treasury technology project, TreaSolution quickly expanded it's scope of services to include treasury reviews / treasury audits. TreaSolution assisted organizations in becoming more efficient and secure by helping them implement treasury best practices. Over time, TreaSolution was able to create a comprehensive database of treasury management best practices. By leveraging TreaSolution's proprietary treasury best practices database, our treasury consultants are able to benchmark our client's treasury operations against very specific and relevant metrics.
