Marketing Coordinator
(Part-Time / Chicago or Remote)
TreaSolution is seeking to hire an Event Marketing Coordinator (part-time independent contractor) to assist with marketing the 2021 U.S. Fintech Symposium and other TreaSolution events & services.
TreaSolution is a treasury management consulting, training and staffing company. We are seeking an Event Marketing Assistant who can take responsibility for client, sponsor and event attendee outreach. The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for marketing TreaSolution's three primary event and consulting services: The Treasury Boot Camp, Treasury Sales Training and our annual U.S. Fintech Symposium conference.
The U.S. Fintech Symposium is an industry leading conference which will be held on September 23rd & 24th. The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for reaching out to professionals and companies within the fintech, finance and technology industries. This person must be able to quickly learn about the U.S. Fintech Symposium and fintech industry details. The ability to successfully collaborate, communicate and work with the U.S. Fintech Symposium production team is critical. This person will report directly to the U.S. Fintech Symposium Producer.
The Treasury Boot Camp and Treasury Sales Training events are online training events that are held several time throughout the year. The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for client outreach and social media posts in order to advertise these training courses.

We anticipate this position to work at least 20 hours per week. Most of this work can be completed remotely during normal business hours. Ideally, the candidate will be able to travel to Chicago for occasional meetings and attendance at the U.S. Fintech Symposium in September. The Independent Contractor agreement term will be through September 24th, 2021. TreaSolution may offer full-time employment to the Event Marketing Assistant if the above stated work functions are successfully met and/or exceeded.
Pay / Hour: $16 - $20 (Based upon experience) + Potential Performance Bonus

Event Marketing Assistant Responsibilities:
- Event Sponsorship Outreach: Communicate with current and potential event sponsors to determine interest in participating in the U.S. Fintech Symposium. Schedule potential sponsor Zoom meetings with Event Producer as needed.
- Event Attendee Outreach: Communicate with industry professionals to promote attendance at the 2021 U.S. Fintech Symposium, Treasury Boot Camp and/or Treasury Sales Training events.
- Event Speaker Coordination: Work with Event Producer to coordinate event speaker communications, contract completion, interviews, presentation delivery, etc.
- Event Sales Call Participation: Participate on sponsorship sales calls with Event Producer. Update the CRM program with all call details, deliverables and follow up items.
- Social Media Management: Collaborate with Event Producer to develop social media campaigns which will increase event attendance, sponsorship and brand awareness. Furthermore, increase the social media followers for all LinkedIn and Twitter accounts.
- Event Website Updates: Produce regular blog posts on FintechSymposium.com pertaining to event news, speaker interviews and event developments.
- Public Relations: Regularly produce and distribute of event news press releases.
- Market Other TreaSolution Events & Service: The Marketing Coordinator may be asked to assist with other TreaSolution marketing initiatives on an as needed basis.

Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Sales, Advertising, Hospitality, Event Planning, Communication or Related Field.
- Familiarity with event planning, event marketing and sponsorship sales.
- Ability to utilize LinkedIn to reach out to potential event sponsors, attendees, speakers, etc.
- A self-starter... The ability to take ownership of job responsibilities to ensure their successful completion.
- A clear, kind and professional communicator who is comfortable making numerous phone call, emails, social media posts, etc.
- The ability to learn how to use the U.S. Fintech Symposium technology such as our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Zoom, Gmail, Google Sheets, Loomly, Weebly, etc.
- Ability to consistently follow up with prospective sponsors, attendees and/or sponsors (and not get discouraged!)
- This person must be a professional with the utmost integrity. This is absolutely necessary.
- Attention to details is HUGE!
