Range: $50,000 - $60,000
General
Overview
TreaSolution's
client has an immediate need for well qualified individual whose
primary responsibilities will be the daily investment operations
and over sight of $800 million in total assets for a non-for-profit
foundation in addition to the management of defined benefit plans
and defined contribution plans. This position can be likened to
an internal investment consultant and would be a great opportunity
for someone that wants a career in corporate investement consulting.
Education
College
degree, preferably in business.
Knowledge and Skills
- Investment-related
college or graduate courses.

One to two years of investment-related experience in pensions,
foundations, charitable gift vehicles, and/or endowments.
- Financial
modeling, experience calculating investment returns and the ability
to manipulate spreadsheets is important.

Attention to detail and ability to manage several tasks concurrently
is important.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Specific Duties
-
Ongoing reporting/auditing of investment performance, monitoring
of investment manager performance and recommendations for review/termination.

Responsible for investment and asset allocation of cash flows
and monitoring and rebalancing of assets in accordance with investment
policies.

Monitor each fund’s and manager’s compliance with
investment policies and guidelines to ensure portfolios are managed
consistent with objectives stated in policies.

Implementation of and compliance with spending policies for Foundation
funds.

Coordinate and manage investment restructuring/manager transitions.

Produce Director, Trustee and committee-level quarterly investment
communications.

Develop annual budgets for investment earnings and investment-related
fees.

Prepare quarterly variance reports for investment revenue accounts.

Prepare investment-related advance memorandum items for Boards,
Trustees and committees.

Produce presentation materials for senior management and volunteers
for use in Board/committee meetings.

Presentations to investment, retirement and other finance committees.
Prior Experience
Minimum of one year of investment-related experience. Spreadsheet
experience essential.
Supervisory Responsibility
Trains and develops Treasury Analyst in various investment functions.
Budget Responsibility
Responsible for investment revenue accounts.
Internal Contacts
Planned Giving, Gift Administration, PolioPlus Manager and assistants,
Executive Services, Corporate Reporting Managers and most staff
accountants, Planning and Analysis Manager and budget analysts and
Legal staff.
External Contacts
Investment managers (current and prospective), custodian banks,
investment consultants, volunteer leaders, and more.
